Oil – 3 tbsp
sliced Onions – 1/4 cup
Sprouts – ¼ cup
Shredded Cabbage – ¼ cup
Red & yellow Bell peppers – ½ each (cut into julienne)
Green Capsicum – ½ (cut into julienne)
Minced Garlic – 1 tbsp
Salt & pepper to taste
Dark soy sauce – 1 tsp
Green chilli sauce – 1 tbsp
Vinegar – 1/4 tsp
Idli – 4-5 big ones

  1. Add some oil in a pan. Shallow fry the idlis till they become golden brown.
  2. In the same pan, again add oil, garlic. Cook till the raw fragrance goes away.
  3. Saute some sliced onions till translucent. Then add bell peppers, sprouts. Cook for a while till they become a little soft. (Make sure not to overcook it, we want the bite)
  4. Then add the cabbage. Season with salt, pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, green chilli sauce & give everything a good toss.
  5. Add the idlis & mix well. Garnish with spring onions & serve hot.
