Grilled Fish With Lemon Butter Caper Sauce

For grilled fish

Fish fillets(rawas) 3
Lemon juice-2tbsp
Crushed black pepper-1tsp
Salt to taste
Olive oil-2tbsp

For the sauce

Olive oil-1tbsp
Chopped garlic-1tbsp
Capers-1 Tbsp
White wine-2tbsp
Chicken stock-1cup
Crushed black pepper-1/2tsp
Chilled butter-2tbsp
Salt to taste.

Garnish

Cherry tomatoes
Lemon slices
Fresh parsley leaves

  1. Marinate the fish with salt, pepper & lime juice.
  2. Add oil to a hot pan, grill the marinated fish pieces on high heat for about 2-3minutes on each side. Take it out on a serving platter.
  3. To the same pan, add finely chopped garlic, followed by capers & white wine.
  4. Then add the chicken stock & let it simmer until it reduces to half. Season with salt & pepper.
  5. Turn the heat off. Add chilled butter & swirl so that it get emulsified into the sauce. Pour on top of the fish.
  6. Serve hot with slices of lemon & cherry tomatoes on the side. You may add fresh parsley leaves too for garnish.
