Chicken Soup with Pasta

Olive Oil -1 tbsp
Peppercorns – 2-3
Cloves – 2-3
Bay Leaf – 1-2 small
Minced Garlic – 4-5 cloves
Finely sliced ginger – 1/2 inch
Celery (finely chopped) – 1 Tbsp
Chopped Onion – 1
Chicken on the bone – 4 -5 pieces
Salt & pepper to taste
Finely Diced Carrots – 1/4th cup
Finely Chopped Beans – 1/4th cup
Diced Potato- 1 medium sized
Water – 3-4 cups
Boiled Pasta – 1/2 cup
Chopped Parsley for garnish

  1. In a pressure cooker, add oil followed by the whole spices. Once they turn fragrant, add celery, minced garlic, ginger & onions. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Sauté for a couple of minutes.
  2. Then add the diced carrots, beans & potatoes. Season again with salt and pepper and mix well.
  3. Then add the chicken pieces to the pressure cooker. Give it a nice sear. Season for the last time,
    add water & pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
  4. Once done, take the lid off. Leave the chicken pieces as it is(but you can take it off of the bone and shred it if you like)
  5. Pour in a bowl, add the boiled pasta & serve hot garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
