400 gms mangoes (cubed)
Castor sugar – 2 tbsp
Almonds ground/flour – ¼th cup

For the topping:

All-purpose flour (maida) – ¾th cup
Baking powder – 1 tsp

Brown sugar – 50 gms

    1. Preheat the oven to 180°C
    2. Place the cubed mangoes in your serving dish
    3. Sprinkle castor sugar, almond flour, and vanilla extract. With the help of a fork, mix all the ingredients.
    4. Now for the crumble topping, take another bowl, add all-purpose flour and baking powder to it.
    5. Then add chilled butter cubes and quickly rub them into the flour with your finger tips. The mixture should look like bread crumbs.
    6. Now add the brown sugar to the flour and butter mixture, give it a good mix but only with a fork. Now don’t use your fingers.
    7. Finally top it up with sliced almonds and spread it evenly.
    8. Bake in a preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes.
    9. Mangoes should bubble from the sides and the crumble should look golden and crisp.
    10. Remove when done and let it cool slightly.
    11. Serve warm with a side of fresh cream whipped with powdered sugar!

My Mango Crumble is like a taste of summer in every bite.
