Mushrooms On Toast

Mushrooms – 200 gms
Garlic (finely chopped)- 1 tsp
Olive oil – 1 tbsp
Butter- 1 tbsp
Finely chopped Garlic- 1 tbsp
Chilli flakes – 1tsp
Salt & Pepper to taste
Sourdough bread slice- 3
Freshly chopped Parsley leaves – 1 tbsp

To top – crumbled feta Cheese

  1. Slice the mushrooms & bread.
  2. Heat a pan, add oil and butter. Once the butter stops foaming, add finely chopped garlic, sauté, then add chilli flakes followed by sliced mushrooms. Sauté on high heat, season right in the end with salt and pepper and take it out in a bowl.
  3. In the same pan, add bread slices and grill on both sides. Take it off the flame, add the prepared mushrooms on top, crumble some feta and garnish with freshly chopped parsley leaves. Serve immediately on a parchment lined wooden platter.
