8β10 Fresh amla (Indian gooseberries), deseeded and chopped
4 inches Fresh turmeric root, peeled and sliced
4 inches Fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced
25β30 Fresh curry leaves
3 tbsp Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
ΒΎ tsp Black salt (kala namak)
9β10 Black peppercorns
Β½ tsp Regular salt
Water, as required for blending
Wash the amla, turmeric, and ginger thoroughly.
Chop the amla into smaller pieces for easier blending.
Add amla, turmeric, ginger, curry leaves, and black peppercorns to a blender.
Blend while adding a small amount of water (about ΒΌ to Β½ cup) until smooth.
For a clearer drink, strain the mixture using a fine-mesh sieve or muslin cloth.
Pour the concentrated mixture into a clean ice cube tray.
Freeze for 4β6 hours until solid.
Once frozen, transfer cubes into a zip-lock bag or airtight container for easy daily use.
Drop one cube into warm water and stir well before drinking.
