Grated Apple 1
Milk 500 ml
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Raw sugar 1 tbsp
Saffron strands a few
Chopped nuts – ¼ cup
- Wash the apple thoroughly & grate them with or without skin depending on your preference.
- In a thick bottomed pan, add milk & bring it to a boil. Then reduce the flame & allow it to simmer till it thickens. Keep stirring to avoid the milk from sticking to the bottom.
- Now add the sugar & saffron strands.
- Stir and simmer for a while.
- Then the cardamom & the grated apple to it. Cook till the apples soften.
- Add nuts & keep stirring the milk in between.
- Once done to the desired consistency, take it out into a serving bowl, top with a few more chopped nuts & serve hot or at room temperature & serve.
