Baked Purple Yam Chips

Have you tried the regular Palak Paneer with the twist of Fresh Green Garlic? No? Try this

Purple Yam (kand) – 1 large
Fresh Rosemary – 2-3 sprigs
Salt & pepper – to taste

For The Dip

Hung curd- 1/2 cup
Ketchup- 1tbsp

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees.
  2. Peel the yam & use a mandoline to make thin and uniform slices.
  3. Line the baking tray with parchment paper & spread the slices on the tray.
  4. Season the chips with salt & pepper.
  5. Place the sprigs of rosemary onto the tray.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 mins or till the sides are curled and the chips are cooked through.
  7. Take it out from the oven and allow the chips to cool.
  8. Remember they will get crunchier as they cool.
  9. Store in an airtight container. Enjoy with homemade dip. (Recipe mentioned below)
  10. For the dip

  11. In a bowl, mix hung curd & ketchup to get a smooth consistency.
  12. Serve with the prepared yam chips.
