Beetroot & Panner Rice

Beetroot (boiled and grated) – 2 medium size
Crumbled paneer – 100 gms ( approx 1/2 cup)
Butter – 2tbsp
Boiled Rice – 2 cups
Salt – to taste
Pepper powder- (optional )

  1. In a pan, heat the butter and add the grated beetroot. Sauté for a couple of minutes.
  2. Then add the rice and toss well until the entire rice is pink.
  3. Now add the paneer and mix well.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Take different shapes of cookie cutters, place them on a plate, and carefully fill them with the prepared rice. Gently slide the cutters out leaving behind the rice in beautiful shapes!
