Boiled Egg Recipe

Eggs – 4( boiled & cut into halves)

Sliced garlic- 1tbsp

Diced onion – 1 (medium)

Mushrooms – 7-8 (cut into halves)

Fresh thyme sprigs – 2-3

Salt and pepper – to taste

Mozzarella cheese (grated) – 2 Tbsp

Olive oil – 2 tsp(if using cast iron pan, in a non-stick, 1 tsp is enough)

Cherry tomatoes – 4-5 (halved)

Freshly chopped parsley for garnish

  1. Cut boiled eggs into halves vertically.
  2. Heat oil in a cast iron skillet, add sliced garlic & sauté till light brown.
  3. ⁠Then add onions & cook till translucent.
  4. Follow this up with mushrooms & sauté till slightly soft.
  5. ⁠Add the thyme sprigs and bring it all the in the centre of the pan.
  6. ⁠Place the boiled egg halves around the veggies, making a pattern with one yolk side up and the other yolk side down.( As shown in the video)
  7. Season with salt & pepper and grate mozzarella on top of eggs & the mushrooms.
  8. Now, throw in a few cherry tomatoes & cover the pan with a lid.
  9. ⁠Allow the cheese to melt and the tomatoes to soften up slightly on low flame.
  10. Once done, switch off the flame & garnish with freshly chopped parsley leaves.
  11. Serve immediately!
