Vanilla sponge (250 gms)
Almond powder-4tbsp

For orange compote

Orange-1
Orange juice-100ml
Sugar 1/2 Tbsp

Strawberry compote

Strawberries-150gm
Sugar-1 Tbsp
Water-2tbsp

For garnish

Melted dark chocolate
Melted white chocolate
Sprinkles

  1. For orange compote, add orange segments to a pan along with the sugar and cook till pulpy. Then add the orange juice & allow it to simmer on low flame till nice and thick.
  2. For Strawberry compote, add chopped strawberries to another pan with sugar & water & simmer on low flame till it turns pulpy and thick.
  3. To make the cake pops, add divide the sponge equally in two separate bowls. Then add 2tbsp of almond flour to each bowl. Crumble and mix well.
  4. Add the compote in each bowl separately. Combine everything well so that you can shape them into round spheres. Place them on sticks to turn them into pops. Freeze them for at least 2-3 hrs or overnight.
  5. Now dip the frozen pops in melted white & dark chocolate, decorate with sprinklers & watch the expression of your children when they see these ????
