Drumstick Parantha

Ingredients For The Paratha:

Whole wheat flour-1 cup
Drumstick-2 (cut and boiled)
Cumin powder-¼ tsp
Salt-to taste
Oil-1tsp
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Freshly chopped coriander leaves-1 tbsp
Water- as required to make soft dough
Ghee-to apply on parathas

Ingredients For Achari Aloo:

Potato (boiled & diced)-1 large
Achar masala-1 tbsp
Salt-to taste

For The Paratha

In a Paraat, add flour followed by cumin powder, salt & oil. Rub well till you get crumbly texture.
Now add ginger -garlic paste along with drumstick pulp (scrape out the drumstick pulp with the help of a spoon) and chopped coriander leaves.
Mix them all together to form a soft dough. Add the water after mixing well the pulp & coriander leaves, since they also have good amount of moisture.
Take a small portion of the dough, dust with flour & roll it out with a rolling pin.
Apply some ghee on top & fold to make a square like shown in the video. Again dust with flour & make the paratha.
Now place the paratha on a hot tawa, cooking it till golden brown on both sides using some ghee.
Once done keep it aside on a plate.

For Achari Aloo

In a non-stick pan, add achaar masala, followed by potato cubes. Give a quick toss. Season with salt & again mix well. Serve hot along with prepared drumstick paratha!
