Eggless Walnut Brownie

Regular Butter – 110 gm
Dark Chocolate (chopped)- 170 gm
Sugar – 30 gm
Condensed Milk – 120 ml
Vanilla Essence – 5 ml
All purpose Flour – 130 gm
Baking Powder – 1 tsp
Milk – 150 ml
Walnuts – 100 gms (roughly chopped)

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees C.
  2. Melt the chopped chocolate & butter in a double boiler on gentle heat.
  3. Once melted, remove from heat, add sugar & beat it in. Then add condensed milk, vanilla essence & regular milk (in parts) & beat in intervals.
  4. Sieve the flour & baking powder and fold into the batter till smooth.
  5. Finally fold in the chopped walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter in a lined baking pan, top with some more chopped walnuts and bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 mins.
  7. Once done, remove & let the pan cool on a cooling rack. When completely cooled, demould, slice carefully & serve.
    (Tip- if you chill the brownie in the fridge in the pan itself, it gets much easier to demold and slice)
