Healthy Chaat Platter

For the Base:

Hung curd – 2 cups
Salt & pepper to taste
Chaat Masala – 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Mix well and keep aside.

For the toppings:

A dash of butter/oil
Boiled chickpeas – 1/2 cup
Salt, pepper and all chatpata masalas that you like

In a bowl add:

1 Tomato (finely chopped without the pulp)
1 Onion (finely chopped)
1 Green chilly (finely chopped)
Salt & pepper to taste
Lemon juice
Mix well and keep aside

Accompaniments

Homemade Sweet chutney & coriander chutney to serve on the side (recipe on my youtube channel) as accompaniment
Freshly chopped coriander leaves
Sev for garnish
Papdi as required

    1. Take 2 Pineapple slices, Add a dash of butter or oil to a grill pan and charr them slightly from both sides. Remove from the pan, let it cool completely, then chop them up into cubes.
    2. Take 2 medium-sized Sweet potato (boiled & cut into cubes)
      With a little ghee or oil, sauté them till golden on all sides. Remove and keep it aside.

Assembly:

  1. On a serving platter, spread the curd mixture with the help of a spoon.
    Now arrange the chickpeas, grilled pineapple & sweet potato on the curd as a topping in layers. Each should represent it’s own section.
  2. Add columns of the onion-tomato mixture in between. Garnish with Sev and coriander leaves.
  3. Arrange the Papdis on the edge of the platter and serve immediately.
