Lathpath Paneer Sabzi

Paneer – 250 gm
Ghee – 2 Tsp
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Ginger – 1/2 inch
Green chilli – 1
Tomatoes – 4-5
Rock Salt to taste
Freshly chopped coriander leaves for garnish

  1. Boil the tomatoes. Once done, peel the skin& roughly chop them.
  2. Using mortar & pestle, pound the ginger and green chilli (can may simply chop them too)
  3. Heat ghee in a pan, then add the cumin seeds. Allow them to crackle.
  4. Then add the ginger & chili paste and sauté for a minute or so.
  5. Add the tomatoes & cook till soft and mushy( cover after a while)
  6. Season with salt and water if needed. Remember It should be Lathpath not a curry
  7. Once done, add the paneer. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves & serve hot with singhade ke aate ka paratha( recipe of that has been separately shared)
