Mango Custard Recipe

Full fat Milk – 2 cups
Custard powder – 2 tbsp
Sugar – ¼ cup
Mango cubes – ¼ cup
Mango purée- ½ cup
Mixed chopped nuts – ¼ cup

  1. In a deep pan, bring milk to a boil. Add sugar.
  2. In a small bowl, make a slurry of custard powder with cold milk and add to the boiling milk.
  3. Keep stirring till the milk thickens ensuring that the milk does not stick to the bottom.
  4. Cool the custard completely.
  5. Then add the mango purée to the custard and mix well (keep aside some for presentation).
  6. When ready to serve, pour the remaining mango purée into the base of the glass, top with mixed nuts, add the custard & finally finish with diced mangoes. Serve chilled garnished with a sprig of mint.
