Open Paneer Burgers

150 gms Paneer
Salt to taste
1 tsp Oil
1/2 Cup Boiled & Grated Potato
Turmeric Powder-a pinch
½ tsp Chaat Masala
3 Boiled Beetroot Slices
3 Cucumber Slices
1 tbsp Mayo/Ketchup mix
Cherry tomatoes cut into halves for garnish, As many as you like

  1. Marinate the paneer with salt.
  2. Grill them on both sides with little oil in a pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, add potatoes, chaat masala, turmeric powder & mix it well.
  4. Shape them into tikkis.
  5. Shallow fry them in the same pan on which the paneer was grilled.
  6. Once the tikkis are golden brown on each side, take them off the flame.
  7. Now to assemble our open burgers, place the cooked paneer on a serving platter, spread the mayo & ketchup mix on it.
  8. Then place a beetroot slice, cucumber slice & then the tikki.
  9. Take a cherry tomato & with the help of a toothpick, seal the layers of the open burger.
