Semolina Pancakes

Semolina (Rawa) – 3/4 cup
Spinach purée – 1/4 cup
Carrot purée – 1/4 cup
Curd – 1/4 cup
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 1/2 tsp
Salt – to taste
Oil – for frying
Water – as required

  1. In 3 small mixing bowls divide the semolina into equal parts.
  2. Add spinach purée to the first bowl with semolina, curd to the second & carrot purée to the third.
  3. Add 1/2 a tsp of ginger-garlic paste to the each bowl and season with salt.
  4. Mix all the three batters separately & add water to adjust the consistency.
    Rest for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Heat a pan & grease it very lightly with oil.
  6. Then pour the batter to your desired size & one by one cook all the tricolour pancakes.
  7. Once done stack them one on top of the other & serve hot with chutney or sauce of choice.
