Vermicelli Noodles

Oil – 1 tbsp
Chopped garlic – 2-3 cloves
Green chillies 1-2
Sliced onions – 1
Julienned(finely sliced) green capsicum – 1
Chilli sauce – 1 tsp
Soya sauce – 1 1/2 tsp
Vinegar – 1/2 tsp
Vermicelli – 1/2 a packet
Hot water – 3/4 cup
Salt & pepper – to taste
Spring onion stems – for garnish

  1. In a wok, heat the oil, add garlic and chillies & sauté till fragrant.
  2. Then add onions, once they are translucent, add in the capsicum & toss for about a minute.
  3. Add the chilli sauce, soya sauce, vinegar & give it a nice mix.
  4. Then add the vermicelli & toss well.
  5. Add water & cook it till the noodles are cooked.
  6. Season with salt & pepper, garnish with spring onion stems or coriander leaves & serve hot.
